Summer Abu Jemeza Hassan

Summer joined the Stroke Research & Education Foundation as Chief Executive Officer in 2017.

She began her career as a software engineer after graduating from the University of Sharjah, UAE in 2002. She has had multiple leadership and management roles within large organizations in Dubai, with responsibilities including but not limited to Information Technology, Sales, Marketing Consulting, and Planning Performance in both International Software and Networking Companies.

Much of Summer's consulting work over the last ten years has been in the management and finance consulting space. Summer's tertiary qualifications include a BA in Business Studies, majoring in Management Information Systems, and a postgraduate degree in Network Engineering.

Summer has an active interest in the causes of stroke and its prevention. With a strong vision, she led the creation of the Stroke Research & Education Foundation to support the local community in the Rio Grande Valley. She really enjoys her role in providing direction and guidance to the Board when required.
